Description

The CPLLC Pushover is a Crestron Home tile that sends push notifications through Pushover to the phones, tablets and computers of a Pushover user or delivery group. Its page holds up to 10 messages, each entered by the installer in one setting as name|icon|title|message|priority|sound. Pressing a message, on the page or from a sequence, sends it and runs its “Pressed <name>” event, so any Crestron Home event, such as a door opening, a leak or an alarm, can send a notification. Messages are sent with the owner’s own Pushover application token.

Windows utility that simplifies sideloading of drivers and extensions.

Valid Crestron Home icon names are listed here. All icon names begin with the letters “ic”, for example “icStop” or “icPlay”.

The extension’s own license key, or a CPLLC site license key, is entered in the extension’s Enter License Key option. The License Manager is not required, but it is the convenient place to enter a site license key once for every CPLLC driver.

All license purchases are final and non-refundable. Every CPLLC driver works fully for two hours without a key: test it on your processor before you buy. See the Terms of Use.

Installer Options

  • Obtain License Key – Opens CPLLC.net, where license keys and site licenses can be purchased.
  • Enter License Key – The Pushover license key. Leave blank when the site has a CPLLC site license.
  • Show on Home Screen – Shows the tile on the Home screen (default off).
  • Show in Room Screen – Shows the tile in its room (default on).
  • Starting Pin Code – A numeric PIN that must be entered before the messages are shown. Blank means no PIN (the default). A new Starting Pin Code replaces a PIN changed from the keypad, so a forgotten PIN can be reset here.
  • Seconds Pin Active – How long the messages stay unlocked after the last touch (default 10 seconds; 0 also means 10).
  • Tile Icon – The tile’s icon until the first message is sent (default icBroadcastRegular).
  • Page Header Text – The control page’s title, and the tile’s status until the first message is sent. Blank shows “Pushover”.
  • Message 01 – 10 – The message in one box, as Parameter 1|Parameter 2|Parameter 3|Parameter 4|Parameter 5|Parameter 6: the name, shown on the page and naming its event and its entry in Select Message; the icon, by its name in the Crestron Home icon library; the title of the notification (blank: the Pushover application’s name); the message text (blank: the name); the priority, -2 to 2 or lowest, low, normal, high, emergency (blank: normal); and the sound, by its Pushover name such as pushover, siren, cashregister or none (blank: the user’s default). Leave the box blank to hide the message. Give each message a different name: Select Message sends the first one with the name chosen.
  • Application Token – Required. The owner’s own Pushover application’s API Token/Key (see Installing). Shown in Setup as entered. Pushover checks it when OK or Next is pressed; one it refuses shows Invalid Token.
  • User/Group Key – Required. The user key on the owner’s pushover.net dashboard, or a delivery group’s key, that receives the messages. Pushover checks it when OK or Next is pressed; one it refuses shows Invalid User/Group Key. A key Pushover knows but whose user has no active devices yet is accepted: messages are taken but reach no phone until the Pushover app is set up on one.
  • Device – The name of one of the user’s devices in Pushover, to send to that device only; a name the user doesn’t have shows Invalid Device. Blank sends to all of them (the default).
  • Allow HTML Formatting – Checked to send the message text as HTML, unchecked to send it as plain text (default unchecked).

Actions

  • Select Message – Sends the message chosen from the list of message names, as a touch on the page does: it is sent through Pushover, its Pressed event runs and the tile shows it.
  • Extension Enable / Extension Disable – Enables or disables the tile. A disabled tile shows Disabled and sends nothing.

Events

  • Pressed <name> – The message was pressed, from the page or by Select Message, and queued to send.
  • Extension Enabled / Extension Disabled – The tile was enabled or disabled.
  • Pin Locked / Pin UnLocked – The PIN keypad locked again, or the right PIN was entered.
